Can I stay overnight? Prayer Chapel guests may not stay overnight. Reservation requests are received for a morning stay; afternoon stay; all-day stay.
When is the chapel available? And what hours may I request? Available Monday through Friday; the hours are as follows: Morning stay: 8 a.m. – noon. Afternoon stay: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. All day stay: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
May I hold a meeting at the Prayer Chapel? It is possible the Prayer Chapel can be reserved for a meeting of not more than 10 people. Meetings at the Prayer Chapel are not for dinners. A pastor may reserve the Prayer Chapel for planning meetings. Water and coffee may be provided for such gatherings. No food is to be brought to the Prayer Chapel by guests. Food would be provided by Deer Ridge Ministries for a modest charge.
Is there any chance I could get lunch? Lunch may be requested but will only be provided for Chapel guests at times when regular 5-day retreats are being held. Otherwise Chapel guests are expected to lunch at nearby restaurants.
May I bring guests with me for a day at the Prayer Chapel? The Prayer Chapel is for individuals to come for uninterrupted personal times of prayer and meditation.
Is there a fee for use of the Prayer Chapel? There is no fee charged for those coming to pray during confirmed stays. Our cost for supplying the facility is $15/hr. Reimbursements of any amount are accepted but not required. Any reimbursements above our cost would be considered a donation.
