Our Facilities
Deer Ridge Prayer Chapel
Prayer Chapel guests can come for a time of Sabbath prayer and meditation in privacy and in the midst of the beautiful Deer Ridge Ministries landscape.
The chapel is about 500 square feet. It has been designed for use by full-time area pastors and full-time church staff as a place for prayer, study and meditation. In the past we have been so happy to have pastors come to the retreat house for times of prayer and Bible study when the house was not hosting retreat guests. But those opportunities were limited. The Prayer Chapel provides commuters the opportunity to come for a day of uninterrupted personal Sabbath even though we may have retreat guests at the retreat house.
The Prayer Chapel is heated and air conditioned allowing guests to come year-round. The Chapel is equipped with comfortable furnishings for restful study, prayer and reflection. There will be bottled water, a coffee maker and carafe and some snacks provided. There is also a microwave and small refrigerator. There are no restroom facilities or plumbing. Chapel Guests may take the short walk to use restroom facilities in the Retreat House.
