The 2016 Christmas Teas have concluded at the Deer Ridge Retreat house. We are delighted to report that this has been a wonderful ‘Tea Season,’ as the house was filled with many guests and lots of laughter. The weather and food seemed to come together in just the right way. Scones, Tea sandwiches and sugary treats made everyone happy as they toured the rooms and enjoyed sweet conversation. A special thank-you to all those who attended for the first time as well as repeat guests. We are also grateful for those helpers who served our guests.
Soon the trees and decorations will be stored in anticipation on another retreat year for our pastor and missionary guests. However, Louise will be busy researching and trying out recipes in anticipation of the 2017 Christmas Teas at Deer Ridge. If you missed being a guest this year….plan to come next December. The Teas are a great way to get every guest in the mood for the celebration of our Savior’s birth. Merry Christmas, Everyone!
